MARINE
FIELD TRIP REPORT IN DUTUNGAN ISLAND AND PAPUTO BEACH
Hello
guys, welcome to my blog. My name is Nita. In this time I will tell about my
experience on the field trip yesterday, precisely on 10-11 oct 2019.
On
October 10, 2019, students of Makassar tourism polytechnic students majoring in
travel business semester 3, did a field trip to the Dutungan island and Paputo
beach .
For
the first, we gathered at the orange
building (POLTEKPAR), at 6:00 in the morning. and then do the absence and
distribution of the tour equipment
Then
, we left the campus and headed for the Dutungan Island, Barru regency. From
Makassar to Barru it takes around 2-3 hours. And than we are arrived in tanjung
indah dock, After arriving at Tanjung Indah dock, we are used boat to go to the
dutungan island.
This
is a picture of us on a boat.
Previously,
Dutungan island was one of the islands in Barru district, to get to this island
we had to take a boat for about 5 minutes. The island is surrounded by a
soothing mountain range. Facilities on this island are also in no doubt.
Starting from cottage, restaurants, toilets, and various other interesting
photo spots. On this island snorkeling and diving can also be done.
After
arriving at the dutungan and before snorkeling or diving we get an explanation
and introduction of tools for snorkelling and diving by existing dive guides.
Snorkeling
and diving time.
Dutungan
Island there is also has a large writing with the words "DUTUNGAN
ISLAND" this is our photo in front of the writing :)
After
from the dutungan, we went to pare-pare and check in at Delima sari hotel.
After checking in, we had a dinner restaurant not far from the hotel and after
that made a presentation about the things that were done beforehand and how to
handle the K3 simulation in the event of an underwater accident.
On
the second day, 11th October, we gathered at the habibie and ainun love
monuments to do morning exercise.
After
that, checkout from the hotel and go to the second location, Paputo Beach.
Paputo
beach is the only white sand beach in Pare-pare regency, this beach is
supported by various facilities, such as cottages, toilets, restaurants,
gazebos and others.
Visitors
in the afternoon on the beach Paputo more than any other time, this is because
the beautiful sunset views. The photo spots provided at Paputo Beach are also
very trendy and instagramable
After
from paputo beach, we headed to Teras empang cafe and restaurant for lunch, and
returned to Makassar.
